TT Games revealed its return to the world of LEGO games with LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, an adaptation of the hero’s most iconic moments across comic books, movies, and more. Launching in 2026, players can also recruit and play as the Caped Crusader’s allies throughout the adventure.
While Jim Gordon, Robin, Batgirl, and Catwoman were confirmed, a new FAQ reveals that Talia al Ghul and Nightwing are also playable, bringing the total roster to seven. Fans can also expect other DC Super-Villains to appear alongside the already-announced Bane, The Penguin, Poison Ivy, The Joker, and Ra’s al Ghul.
As for Gotham City, which is an open world, you’ll discover some familiar locations like Wayne Tower, Arkham Asylum and Ace Chemicals alongside the Gotham Botanical Gardens. There will be crimes to stop in typical Batman fashion, but various puzzles, challenges, and “surprises” await discovery. And if you’re not too keen on the different Batmobiles, other vehicles will be available, including Batcycles.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight launches in 2026 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
