With the release of the first episode of Life is Strange 2 almost here — it launches this Wednesday — fans are probably preparing themselves for the eagerly anticipated follow-up to Dontnod’s award winning, beloved graphic adventure game from 2015. If you’re one of those people, and can’t wait to go hands on with the new game as it happens, you’ll probably be looking to clear up some hard drive space on your console and PC ahead of time.
There’s good news on that front— the first episode of Life is Strange 2 takes up 9.56GB of your hard drive space, according to its listing on the PSN Store. Of course, as always, you’ll need more space clear than that to download the game, since the PS4 tries to account for how much space the compressed package and the final, installed game will take up together, but even so, this is positively tiny by modern game standards.
Of course, with five episodes, it’s probably going to end up closer to the ~50GB that is so commonplace for so many major games these days. Life is Strange 2 launches for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 26.
