Sony and Insomniac Games have released a new trailer for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, showcasing the praise showered by critics on the title (making it the developer’s best-reviewed game yet). Check it out below and read our review, where we awarded it a 9 out of 10.
Set ten months after Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, the sequel sees Peter Parker reunited with his long-time friend, Harry Osborn. Unfortunately, danger is afoot in the form of Kraven and his Hunters, and while Miles Morales joins Peter, the latter is possessed by the Symbiote and starts going down a dark path.
The map of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is about twice the size of the first game and offers several new activities, from Mysteriums and Spider-Bots to new side missions and Suits to collect. It’s sold over 2.5 million copies in its first 24 hours, besting God of War Ragnarok as PlayStation’s fastest-selling first-party title. Updates are also on the way to add New Game Plus, Mission Replay and more, so stay tuned.
