Mass Effect 4: Insider States Xbox One Exclusivity Is A No Go, Inquisition Team Working On It

A few updates on the next Mass Effect.

About two weeks ago, I put together this little article about Michael Gamble, the producer of Mass Effect, saying that the next Mass Effect wouldn’t be an Xbox One Exclusive. Gamble said that this was “just a rumour”, but he didn’t actually deny it.

So, cross your fingers and pray that the game isn’t exclusive to any one platform. On the subject of whether EA and Bioware would actually be that brave to go exclusive with Xbox One, industry insider Ninja, Shinobi602, took to the NeoGaf forums to say that exclusivity is “not happening.” As usual take this information with a grain of salt but Shinobi602 has a solid track record so far, so his information can be trusted.

If there’s one thing anyone knows for sure at the minute, it’s that there are talented people working on Mass Effect. Gamble has confirmed that developers who worked on Dragon Age: Inquisition are also working on the next Mass Effect. He took to Twitter to say “The best thing about @dragonage winning all these GOTY awards? Many of those talented developers are working on your next @masseffect too ;).”

The next Mass Effect has no current release date but is expected to launch on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
