Mass Effect Andromeda Animation Improvements Not Coming on Day One

Multiplayer sound issues under investigation.

Bioware’s Mass Effect: Andromeda has been receiving wide-spread criticism for its animations, particularly for character’s faces, after the trial recently went live. Unfortunately, no improvements are currently planned for the Day One patch of the game (which is included with the early access trial).

Lead designer Ian S. Frazier clarified on Twitter in response to the same. “At day 1? No, that ship has sailed. We’ll have more patches later on, but exactly what goes into them is still in discussion.”

Frazier did state however that issues with sound positioning in the multiplayer have been reported and are currently under investigation. When a fix for that arrives isn’t known just yet.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is out on March 21st for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. The trial recently went live for EA/Origin Access on Xbox One and PC respectively, providing 10 hours of game time in total. What are your thoughts on the game so far? Let us know below.
