While we haven’t gotten to see much when it comes to the development of Mass Effect: Andromeda we have been getting a few details thanks to the Twitter accounts of various people working on the project. Chris Wynn has actually been pretty forthcoming about the fact that progress is definitely being made by Bioware. Last week he talked about the fact that aliens are taking more work than he first thought they would, this week he wasn’t quite as forthcoming.
Wynn was asked on Twitter if he would be able to tell anyone what the last name of the main character is. While he wasn’t willing to do that just yet, he did answer that the character does indeed have a last name. Meanwhile, the man who has been doing the most talking about the so called “secret IP” continued to do just enough talking to get us excited to see what actually happens. Jay Watamaniuk took to Twitter again to talk about the fact that he found a great quote for a character he is thinking about creating and taped it to his desk. While this isn’t a ton of info it does show that the secret IP is coming.
Finally, Aaryn Flynn showed off an illustration of some Mass Effect: Andromeda armor that was certainly pretty. If there’s one thing that can be said for the team working on Andromeda, it’s that they know how to get fans of the series fired up without showing off the game much at all. Sooner or later, we’ll even get to see footage of Mass Effect: Andromeda before it launches during the Holiday season of next year.
