Bioware outlined changes for Mass Effect: Andromeda, which go live in tomorrow’s patch, and they’re quite significant. Among other things, you can expect increased inventory limits and less instances of global squad mate banter not triggering.
Designer Ian S. Frazier actually addressed how inventory limits would be increasing. Answering a query on Twitter, Frazier noted that, “With this patch, it’ll default to 100 and be expandable up to 200 with AVP.” “AVP” or Andromeda Viability Points are earned when increasing a planet’s viability and can be used to awaken more colonists for added benefits.
As for whether the patch would stop banter from being interrupted by every little thing, Frazier noted that, “Among other things, this patch reduces the frequency of common ‘interrupters’ such as SAM’s hazard updates.”
Other changes include the ability to skip autopilot sequences in the galaxy map, fixes for collision issues and save issues and so on. More detailed patch notes will be coming on April 6th for multiplayer so stay tuned.
