Of the many things that have fans intrigued about Mass Effect: Andromeda is its co-op multiplayer mode. This was a stand-out feature in Mass Effect 3 and will be making its return in Andromeda with new challenges, weapons to earn and different ways to earn them.
While a multiplayer beta is planned (with sign-ups live on Bioware’s site), fixed date hasn’t been announced. However, lead designer Ian Frazier on Twitter said that “odds are good” about more information arriving later this month.
Mass Effect: Andromeda’s multiplayer will also look to change itself up from its predecessor thanks to increased movement capabilities. Different enemy types that force players to take cover or run will also be thrown in to diversify things.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is out on March 21st for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. What are your thoughts on multiplayer and what would you like to see? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information.
