Mass Effect Andromeda Multiplayer Missions Can Be Done With Strike Teams

Don't feel like playing? Send a Strike Team to do it.

Earlier today, Bioware talked bit more about Mass Effect: Andromeda’s Missions for multiplayer.

It was revealed that these Missions would carry different modifiers and stay around for a limited time. As such, if you completed them, rewards gained would be useful for both single-player and multiplayer. These include loot boxes, Mission Funds, experience and so on.

However, as per lead designer Ian S. Frazier, you don’t have to play the missions. Instead, you can send a strike team in to finish them for you. The caveat is that you’ll only gain single-player rewards as a result. Playing them yourself or with friends will net rewards for single-player and multiplayer. This isn’t a bad decision actually as it allows for non-MP fans to gain as well.

Frazier also noted that multiplayer will be available from launch but you’ll only gain access to Missions once you’ve reached a key point in the story.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is out on March 21st for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
