Mass Effect Andromeda PC Patch Fixes Several Issues, Producer Responds To Criticism

"I want us to keep getting better."

Mass Effect Andromeda launches tomorrow- and if you’re going to be playing it, Bioware has some advice for you first. Specifically, PC players are being advised by Bioware’s Producer Fernando Melo on Twitter to download the latest patch for the game, as it addresses a litany of issues with it- black screen errors, sound problems, multiplayer fixes, and more. Console players should also look into downloading Patch 1.4.

Meanwhile, Bioware’s Michael Gamble addressed all of the criticism that Andromeda has received so far- and it has been substantial. Speaking on Twitter in response to a fan query, he said, “I love this game. I love this team. I hope people enjoy the game, and if some don’t, I want us to keep getting better.”

That is a very positive and constructive way to look at things- and I hope Bioware Montreal does in fact look at what didn’t work with Mass Effect Andromeda and works on fixing it with future games. Meanwhile, I also hope that Mass Effect Andromeda is something that series fans can still enjoy, in spite of its flaws.
