While details about Mass Effect: Andromeda have been relatively scarce since the game was announced, we’ve been getting a ton of data to kick off the week. On Monday we got a new cinematic trailer that introduced us to the characters at the center of the story.
While most of the members of the cast are video game veterans, one of the stars of the show is Clancy Brown. Brown is one of those actors and has one of those voices you will recognize right away. He has starred in The Green Mile and in the HBO series, Carnivale. Brown is slated to play Alec Ryder (the player characters’ father) according to Game Informer.
Alongside brown, Tom Taylorson best known for Octodad: Dadliest Catch will take on the role of Scott Ryder who is the male player character. Fryda Wolff is playing Sarah Ryder who is the female player character. Gamers will be able to select one of the two characters at the beginning of the game but will interact with the other as the story moves along.
Mass Effect Andromeda doesn’t have an official release date but it’s expected in the Spring of 2017.
