Mass Effect Andromeda Will Have Large Number of Planets With Several Activities, Cerberus Won’t Return – Insider

Some planets will be more story-centric than others.

Starving for more Mass Effect: Andromeda information, especially since the game doesn’t have a fixed release date? Industry insider shinobi602 shared some neat little tidbits on the overall size and scope over on NeoGAF.

He first noted that with regards to the game’s size, “There are a certain number of very large planets that have any number of activities on them. Enemy bases, main plot missions, and other things. These are sort of the ‘open world’ areas you’ll freely explore. Some will be more story-centric than others. There’s also a lot of side areas too that could be smaller planets, outposts, derelict space stations, etc.”

It was also confirmed that the pro-Human faction Cerberus, which was a major thorn in Shepard’s side throughout the original trilogy won’t be returning.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is currently scheduled to release in Spring 2017 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. As usual this piece of information must be taken with a grain of salt but shinobi602 has a solid track record. What are your thoughts on how the game is shaping up? Let us know in the comments below.
