Capcom’s Mega Man franchise is getting another compilation in the form of Mega Man Legacy Collection 2. It’s out on August 8th for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC, retailing for $20 at physical retail and digital stores.
The second Legacy Collection will feature Mega Man 7, 8, 9 and 10 in one package. It won’t feature remasters but this collection will depict the 16- and 32-bit iterations of the Mega Man franchise.
Furthermore, Capcom promises extra challenges and bonus content. New players, for instance, will be able to take advantage of the Extra Armour feature to reduce all damage by half. There will also be checkpoint saves to let you continue from where you last played rather than starting over.
As for the new Challenge Mode, it will have remixed stages and allow players to compete against each other in online leaderboards. The Museum will contain production art, sketches, development material and a music player to go through the various tracks from the games.
Stay tuned for more information on Mega Man Legacy Collection 2, especially as Capcom will showcase it at E3 2017.
