Konami kicked off its new Press Start showcase with Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. Series producer Noriaki Okamura presented an extended version of the recent reveal trailer, confirming that enemy AI and animations had been updated.
We also received some new footage for Snake vs. Monkey (available for PS5 and PC players) and Snake vs. Bomberman (exclusive to Xbox Series X/S). Secret Theater also returns, dropping as collectibles from enemies. While players can view videos from the original in their unremastered glory, new videos exclusive to Delta: Snake Eater await to be discovered.
Finally, there’s Fox Hunt, a completely original online mode. It shares the same world but with completely different gameplay. The objective is hide-and-seek, with players using camouflage to stay as well hidden as possible. More news will be revealed in the future, but the goal is to create “an online experience unique to Metal Gear.”
