Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 Launches on October 24th for PS4

The PS4 version launches on the same day as Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch and targets a 1080p resolution at 60 FPS.

Konami’s Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 is out on October 24th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Though it announced the PS4 version later, it’s confirmed to release on the same day, with recently tweeted short featuring the console’s logo at the end. It can also be pre-ordered from the PlayStation Store.

Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 includes Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. The first game’s VR/Special Missions from back in the day are included, while Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 are from the 2011 HD Collection. The compilation targets 1080p/60 FPS on all platforms, save for Nintendo Switch.

Other goodies include Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, digital screenplays, digital master books, graphic novels for Metal Gear Solid 1 and 2, Metal Gear: Snake’s Revenge and a digital soundtrack. Stay tuned for more details and gameplay for the collection in the coming weeks.
