Metro: Last Light Gameplay Screenshots Show Weapon Stores, Stealth Elements

There may be more to 4A Games' sequel than meets the apocalyptic eye.

Screenshots from the upcoming post-apocalyptic survival shooter from 4A Games, Metro: Last Light, have emerged and they look as beautiful as they do heart-breaking. Humanity is pretty much on stilts with roughly constructed weapons and an annihilated landscape. But at least they give us an indicator of what to expect when the game hits.

In one of the shots, we can see the protagonist peeking around the corner to get a look at some enemies while readying a stick of dynamite to kill them. Other shots include a weapon store for purchasing new guns, a Russian bar and of course, the landscapes of the world that was. Everything else is pretty much kosher but the game looks damn good for it’s limited palette of colours.

Metro: Last Light is set to release this March for Xbox 360, PC and PS3, and is the sequel to Metro 2033 (but features an entirely different story from the actual paperback sequel, Metro 2034).
