Microsoft Exec: We Develop Games For Both Xbox And Windows, Don’t Care Where People Play

Microsoft has moved away from its Xbox-focused approach during the 360 years in recent times, and now chooses to make all its first party exclusives for both its platforms- Xbox One (which includes Xbox One S and Xbox One X as well) and Windows 10. That doesn’t sit well with some people, of course, but Microsoft as ever are not worried about that (nor should they be).

Xbox’s corporate vice president Mike Ybarra recently took to Twitter to talk about playing Destiny 2 on PC, which for some reason angered a fan, who told Ybarra to focus on Xbox instead. Ybarra went on to reply to him, telling him that Microsoft has created both Windows and Xbox and makes games for both as well. He went on to say he doesn’t care about where people play those games of those two platforms.

That makes sense, of course. Microsoft’s model of making games on both Windows and Xbox doesn’t do any harm to anyone- in fact it only lets more people play their games and use their services.
