Microsoft Reveals Xbox 360 Arctic Camouflage Controller

'Designed for covert operations.'

Although the Xbox One may be all the rage these days, Microsoft hasn’t forgotten about its most successful console ever just yet- today they announced a new special edition controller for the Xbox 360. The Arctic Camouflage Xbox 360 Controller will retail for $55, and features “colors that mimic snow-covered environments,” because it is “designed for covert operations.”

The new controller will feature the special ‘transforming’ D-pad, the new D-pad that Microsoft introduced in controllers in response to criticisms about the older, less responsive one, so it presents a good viable alternative to anyone who wants to pick up a new 360 controller before they’re hard to find- the D-pad experience will certainly be better than it is on a standard controller, which fixes about the one and only flaw that this controller ever had.

The Xbox One, by comparison, currently only has two different controller options available- the standard black one, and a special edition Titanfall one. Of course, a half decade plus from now, it too should have amassed a fairly sizable collection of special edition controllers.
