Like any action RPG looter, Mojang’s Minecraft Dungeons has a base of sorts to rest and visit vendors. It’s called the camp here and along with using Emeralds to upgrade it, there are special facilities to unlock. The first is the Blacksmith – complete the mission in Creeper Woods to gain access to it.
The Blacksmith will give you random gear for Emeralds. For the Wandering Trader, complete the Pumpkin Pastures mission. This vendor sees random Artifacts for Emeralds. Then there’s the Drawbridge which is unlocked after finishing the story. There’s also a special location here that we’ll get to in a bit.
All Rune Locations
There are nine hidden Runes to collect in Minecraft Dungeons but what do they do? Check out the video guide below for the locations of all the Runes. You’ll find one Rune in Creeper Woods, Cacti Canyon, Soggy Swamp, Pumpkin Pastures, Redstone Mines, Fiery Forge, Desert Temple, Highblock Hall and Obsidian Pinnacle each. Upon collecting them, head to the Drawbridge – a level to open it is present after clearing the story.
You’ll find a church here. Go to the back and interact with the switch near the various symbols. The symbols will glow and a wall opens up. Once you open the chest, you’ll get the “???” level on the map. Head there for an homage to one of gaming’s greatest Easter eggs.
