If what analysts are predicting is true, then not only will MW3 have sold 6 million units by the end of today, it also gathered a total of 9 million pre-orders before launch, topping Black Ops’ record.
Atul Bagga of Lazard Capital Markets says, basing his estimates on last week’s figures, that MW3 was pre-ordered by 9 million users before launch, reports Gamespot. That would make is 70% more than Modern Warfare 2 and 55% more than Black Ops, which sold 22 million and 25 million units worldwide respectively.
