If you haven’t had enough of its weapon trailers for Monster Hunter Wilds, good news – Capcom has another one. This time, it’s showcasing the Light Bowgun, which, like the Heavy Bowgun, is a ranged weapon that relies on ammo. What it lacks in defense, it makes up with more agility (including the ability to slide). Check it out below.
The Bowguns have a unique gauge that charges up over time and when landing successful shots. Activate it to fire a stream of bullets, though the Light Bowgun’s version is burst-fire. Regardless, the weapon has some unique changes in Wilds. Planted mines now explode multiple times, and you can execute a sick dodge while firing at a monster.
Monster Hunter Wilds launches in 2025 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Though Capcom hasn’t offered a release date, it will have a new trailer at Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 20th and a hands-on demo for attendees.
