Monster Hunter: World New Footage Shows off Character Creation And More

The footage was revealed at Capcom’s TGS stage event and it covers the opening parts of the game

Fans are excited about Monster Hunter: World as more word of the game gets out, such as this epic demo that was only released recently. Capcom has now showcased the opening parts of the game at the Tokyo Game Show during a special stage event.

The new gameplay footage shows off the impressive character creation tools available to the player, being able to control even minute aspects of their character’s appearance which will ensure that each character can be unique. Following this, viewers also get a glimpse of the Palico creation (Palicoes are basically creatures that can aid the player on their quests).

In the new footage, players also get to briefly watch gameplay involving the flagship monster known as Nerugigante. Players have a great degree of freedom of choice in how they approach a given monster, and the footage showcases how players can make use of their environment when attempting to take down monsters.

All in all, the game’s world seems to be one that is brimming with life and possibilities. The game is set to release worldwide on January 26th 2018 for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4. In Japan, the game will be out only for the Playstation 4. A PC version will be out at some later date which is unknown as of now.
