Monster Hunter World has been huge success on PC, but it’s actually besought with a host of problems, and quite a few are a result of this being the development team’s very first attempt at making a game for the platform. One of those problems has been the game’s camera controls, which simply are not in line with how most games on PC control.
Thankfully, a brand new update for the game, which is out now, fixes this, putting proper camera controls mapped to the mouse like PC players are used to. These won’t be enabled by default, however, and you will have to go to the controls settings to set them up for yourself.
Another, more minor change is that the event quest Relish the Moment has been relocated to the Elder’s Recess (which, according to the developers, makes for the quest being more playable; I won’t argue with their assessment).
Monster Hunter World is out now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
