Multiplayer Crash Bandicoot Game is in the Works at Toys for Bob – Rumour

Journalist Jez Corden claims a new multiplayer Crash Bandicoot game is in development at Toys for Bob, and could be revealed soon.

Legions of people have been thrilled about Crash Bandicoot’s revival these last few years, but even so, it’s soon going to be a couple of years since the series’ last major instalment, Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time. It seems, however, that we might not have to wait awfully long about the series’ next game- though it might not exactly be what you’d be expecting.

On a recent Windows Central podcast, journalist Jez Corden let slip that Toys for Bob, the studio that made the aforementioned Crash 4, is working on another new game in the series. Interestingly, however, it’s supposedly a multiplayer title- more precisely, it’s apparently a four-player brawler.

Rumours of a four-player Crash Bandicoot brawler, supposedly called Wumpa League, have been floating around for some time now, so this isn’t exactly the first time we’ve heard about such a project. Corden says that it could possibly be revealed soon, so it’ll be interesting to see if the many, many events coming in the next couple of weeks bring a new Crash announcement as well.

If that does happen, it’ll at least be good to know that Toys for Bob hasn’t been relegated purely to Call of Duty support duties.
