New ENB Skyrim Mod Shows Glimpses of Next Gen Graphics

Skyrim modding scene has been incredible.

We have a new mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and it is supposed to make the game look much realistic and also fixes the particles in the game, and considering it’s been a year since Skyrim was released, this mod is the pinnacle of visual overhaul.

Of course, you still need the texture packs and stuff that were released for the game, and you can read up on our coverage of that here. This mod supplements the other mods and actually enhances the game so much that you will be really impressed with what it has to offer.

Here’s what the mod’s author says: “Skyrim has a few object meshes that have their shader or blending properties set incorrectly. As a result, many of these objects react to an incorrect category in enbseries.ini; for example, the intensity of whitewater foam might be set by the intensity of [FIRE] instead of [PARTICLE], resulting in bright foam at night.

“The aim of this little mod is to fix all these objects so that they react to a correct category. In addition to that, I will also try and adjust a few game objects to work better with ENB.”

He also adds that the mod is compatible with all texture replacers. So if you have them installed, there’s no reason to remove them.

You can download the mod from here.
