Despite the fact that Team Ninja says they are not working on new Ninja Gaiden title, it’s time for the series to get a little love. After leak of a trilogy release, it now seems as if it’s time for Ryu Hayabasa to make something of a return with Ninja Gaiden Master Collection.
The game was announced via today’s Nintendo Direct, but a trailer was released later confirming it to come to several platforms. The game will include Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge. It does not include any of the vanilla releases of either three games or the beloved re-release of the first game, Ninja Gaiden Black. It will include all the modes, DLC and costumes from those three versions of the titles and presumably some visual enhancements for new consoles though nothing is detailed here.
Ninja Gaiden Master Collection will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC on June 10th.
