Nintendo Switch Sports Takes the Top Spot in Weekly UK Retail Charts Again

Meanwhile, another PS5 restock saw boosted sales for platform exclusive Horizon Forbidden West, which took the No. 3 spot.

Last week’s charts for physical sales in the UK saw Nintendo Switch Sports debuting in pole position with solid sales. This week’s charts (via GamesIndustry) see the sports title retaining its position. In spite of a 24% week-on-week drop in sales, the game has a healthy lead over LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, which itself has held on to second position.

Meanwhile, with PS5 restocks continuing, Horizon Forbidden West enjoyed another sales boost, jumping up to No. 3, with sales up 108% over last week. Following behind are three Nintendo Switch first party exclusives, with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe taking the fourth spot, Kirby and the Forgotten Land coming in at No. 5, and Pokemon Legends: Arceus slotting in at No. 6. Elden Ring, meanwhile, is still going strong at No. 7.

Sifu, which originally launched in February, saw its physical release last week, and debuted in the weekly UK charts at No. 9, with 81% of its sales coming on the PS5 and the rest on PS4. Grand Theft Auto 5 at No. 8 and the Nintendo Switch version of Minecraft at No. 10 round out the charts.
