Wrapping up its Indie World presentation, Nintendo confirmed that Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition was coming to Nintendo Switch. Developed by Moon Studios, the Metroidvania title is currently available for Xbox One and PC. However, it’s coming to the Switch on September 27th.
This the second Xbox One-exclusive title to come to the Switch after Cuphead released several months ago. Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition includes the base game but adds an “Easy” difficulty option along with “One Life” mode. It also allows for fast-traveling between spirit wells in the overworld along with new areas, artwork and more.
Moon Studios is also working on the sequel, Ori and the Will of the Wisps. It releases on February 11th, 2020 for Xbox One and PC. If its predecessor is successful on the Switch, we just might see the sequel make the jump as well. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
