Overwatch 2 Developer Teasing Mysterious Trailer for November 11th

The trailer could be for the rumored mobile version of Overwatch. Current general manager Walter Kong allegedly heads the project.

Blizzard Entertainment has had its ups and downs with Overwatch 2 over the years, but the hero shooter is still popular and seemingly in a decent place. While we know about tests for 6v6 (the first is currently live), it seems the development team has something else coming up.

A mysterious trailer will go live on November 11th at 9 AM PT with nothing but a thumbnail of Tracer, the game’s mascot (that too, her classic look). While there are many potential choices, this could be Overwatch on mobile. Rumors have circulated about it for years, but Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier discussed it in greater detail via his recent book, “Play Nice: The Rise, Fall, and Future of Blizzard Entertainment.

Current Overwatch general manager Walter Kong is reportedly leading the project. Its release window is unknown, but it would be intriguing if this new trailer marked a stealth drop of sorts.

Stay tuned for more updates in the coming days. Overwatch 2 is currently available for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
