Overwatch Beta Accepting More Players This Weekend

Stress test scheduled for November 20th to 23rd.

Blizzard Entertainment has announced that the current closed beta for Overwatch, its team-based competitive multiplayer shooter, will be accepting “a lot more players from our Americas and Europe gameplay regions” this weekend to effectively test the limits of its servers.

The test will begin on November 20th, 9 AM PST and ends on November 23rd. If you head to Battle.net and sign up, you’ll be eligible for an invite. Keep in mind though that this doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll be selected. If Blizzard deems you worthy, then you’ll be notified by email and be eligible to download it within the Battle.net application.

The Overwatch beta currently allows you to try out all 21 heroes within the game but on three maps only – Hanamura, King’s Row and Watchpoint: Gibraltar. Head to Battle.net for more information on system requirements and other questions.

Meanwhile, Overwatch is slated to release in Q1/Q2 2016 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
