After several months of rumors, it seems it’s finally official: the popular Blizzard shooter, Overwatch, is going on the go as it’ll come to the Nintendo Switch. While many was expecting the game to be officially announced via today’s Direct, Blizzard got a head of that a bit with an announcement trailer just before.
Overwatch is one of the first hero based shooters and has been updated since its initial launch way back in 2016. It’s since between updated with nine new playable heroes, twelve maps and a slew of various extras and patches. The Switch will get the Legendary Edition that includes 3 months of Nintendo Switch Online and a limited time Noire Widowmaker skin.
Overwatch is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The Switch version will arrive October 15th. For a quick overview of the game’s latest hero, Sigma, take look through here.
