Overwatch Sigma

A new update has hit live servers for Overwatch on PC and consoles. It brings the game’s newest Tank hero, Sigma, to all players along with Role Queue to Competitive Play and a number of balance changes. Check out Sigma in the trailer below.

Sigma has the ability to cast and recall a barrier in any direction. He can also absorb projectiles and add them to his overall shield count (up to 400 additional shields). Accretion allows him to telekinetically hurl a giant rock, which can stun foes based on how far away they are.

However, his Ultimate is perhaps the most interesting. Gravitic Flux sees Sigma float in the air, then suspend his enemies high up. They’re then slammed down, losing 50 percent of their total health pool in the process. This is especially strong since Sigma can use his primary fire in mid-air, weakening them further. Stay tuned for more details on changes that have hit with this patch.
