Overwatch Officially Licensed Switch Case Leaks, Possible Hints At Switch Port – Rumor

A surprising leak seems to point to a possible release of the shooter on Nintendo's system.

Overwatch Summer Games 2019

Overwatch may not get quite the attention as other hero based shooters out there, but the game is still doing incredibly well and has continued updates. The shooter also looks like it might be ready to be on the go as well as a new leak points to a possible port to Nintendo’s handheld/console hybrid.

It seems a listing for an officially licensed Overwatch Switch carry case went live a tad early via Amazon. The listing has since been taken down, but you can see the pictures via Twitter user Wario64 below. It’s from accessory manufacturer PowerA and is officially licensed by Blizzard and Nintendo.

It’s not totally outside the realm of possibility that there could be some deal here where there a case was produced of a popular gaming franchise despite no plans for the game to come to said system. That is rather unlikely, though, and there’s not much precedent for such a thing. It’s just rumor for now, due to the nature of the leak, but I won’t be too surprised if the game makes its way to the Switch fairly soon. We are due a Direct, too.
