Fortnite Season X

Epic Games’ newest season of Fortnite is now live with Season X. Zero Point has apparently become volatile, time is unstable and the Battle Royale map is changing in all kinds of ways. Check it out in the overview trailer below which also showcases the new cosmetics available this season.

Season X introduces more than 100 new rewards, with the X-Lord and Catalyst outfits unlocking instantly upon purchasing the Battle Pass. Other rewards include dual pickaxes, new emotes and loading screens, and the Ultimate Knight outfit at Tier 100. Also this time around, there’s a new vehicle called the B.R.U.T.E. mech. It seats two players and promises some MechWarrior-like shenanigans.

If that weren’t enough, Battle Pass holders can partake in Missions. These are “thematic objectives that will send you on adventures across the Island” which provide rewards when unlocked. It seems that Epic Games has upped the ante with this recent update – time will tell just how much crazier it gets over the next few months. Stay tuned for more details and patch notes in the meantime.
