Overwatch – Latest Patch Nerfs Hanzo, Orisa, Reaper, and Sigma

McCree receives only one buff compared to the PTR version of this patch.

Blizzard Entertainment’s Overwatch doesn’t have hero bans yet – and likely won’t be getting them in the future – but it does have new patch. Previously available on the Public Test Realm for PC players, it’s now live across all platforms. The only new features are all the hero changes but they’re quite significant.

Hanzo’s Storm Arrows have seen their damage reduced from 70 to 60 per shot. Reaper’s passive healing now heals based on 30 percent of damage dealt as opposed to 40 percent. Meanwhile, tanks like Orisa and Sigma have been hit the hardest. The former’s damage has been reduced with the cooldown of Fortify increased and snare duration of Halt! also reduced.

As for Sigma, his Gravitic Flux can now be interrupted while targets are in mid-air. The slow duration from the impact is now 0.6 seconds, down from 0.9 seconds, and Accretion’s explosion damage has gone from 60 to 40. Perhaps most interesting about the patch is that McCree, who received a buff to health and reduced fire rate on the PTR, only has unlocked aim when using Dead Eye. Check out the full notes below.
