The Summer Games have returned to Blizzard Entertainment’s Overwatch and that means the return of Lucio Ball. Check out the trailer below to see what’s new, what returns and much more.
Last year’s skins, which matched the real-world 2016 Summer Olympics, have returned and their in-game prices have been normalized to match your regular cosmetics. However, the newer cosmetics – which take a more Summer vacation theme – will cost more. They include new highlight intros, new skins for Widowmaker, McCree, Sombra, Reaper, Soldier 76 and Mercy. You can also expect new voice lines, emotes and victory poses.
While Lucio Ball returns with a new arena in Sydney, Australia and leaderboards, players can now participate in Competitive matches. That involves doing placements, being ranked and then trying to climb the ladder. Don’t worry about having only one map to play as Rio de Janeiro also returns. The update is currently live on all platforms and patch notes should be due shortly.
