Blizzard Entertainment has announced the 32 countries that will be participating in this year’s Overwatch World Cup. They were chosen based on the cumulative skill rating of their players, averaging the top 100 from each country.
China is leading the pack followed by South Korea, United States, Sweden and Finland. Phase 2 will now begin and it will see players and viewers voting on their country’s representatives. These individuals will form the Competition Committee and will subsequently recommend teams from their regions.
You can head here to vote for each user, who gets three votes overall, and voting will be open until May 5th. Committee members from each country will be announced on May 8th following which the grouping stage begins in the Summer.
