Pac-Man Museum Cancelled for Wii U and 3DS Due to “Delayed Development”

Both eShop releases have been scuttled by Namco Bandai.

The Wii U hasn’t had a very good weekend thus far when it comes to game cancellations. After WB Games announced that Batman: Arkham Origins DLC wouldn’t be coming to the Wii U, Namco Bandai then revealed that Pac-Man Museum wouldn’t be coming to Wii U and 3DS. Both versions were to arrive on the Nintendo eShop but plans changed in a mighty hurry.

Or did they? According to Namco Bandai, both versions were cancelled “as a result of delayed development”. Regardless, the game will still be releasing for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It will be available for Steam, Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network on February 26th as a digital download.

Pac-Man Museum features just about every Pac-Man game ever released, including Pac-Man, Super Pac-Man, Pac & Pal, Pac-Land, Pac-Mania, Pac-Attack, Ms. Pac-Man and much more. Are you bummed out about the Wii U/3DS version being cancelled? Let us know below.
