Palworld’s latest and potentially biggest update since, well, the last one, is now live. Feybreak adds the titular island, which is six times larger than Sakurajima, and Terraria’s Meowmere, the first piece of content as part of a collaboration (with more coming in 2025). While the latest gameplay trailer touched on several things, the patch notes reveal much more.
There are new materials – Chromite and Hexolite Quartz – to gather. “Extremely difficult” Predator Pals also spawn – defeating them awards “rare rewards.” There’s also a new Stronghold and Stronghold boss, an increased level cap (now at 60), and the new raid boss is Xenolord, a Dark mech dragon. Sphere Modules have been introduced to change the trajectory of Pal Spheres, which raises the capture rate, while the Metal Detector assists in locating Chromite.
You can also craft Revival Potions to revive Pals, unlock Double Jump and Air Dash Boots, increase inventory size with Pouches, and more. Hardcore Mode is also available, though beware – the death of both the player and their Pals is permanent.
Check out the full patch notes below for more details. Palworld is available for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, and PC.
