Persona 5 Series Has Collectively Sold Over 10 Million Units

That includes Persona 5, Persona 5 Royal, Persona 5 Strikers, Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight, and Persona 5 Tactica.

It wouldn’t be an overstatement to call Persona 5 Atlus’ biggest breakout hit to date, and the developer has certainly capitalized on its success with several spinoffs and direct follow-ups. That entire group of games has, unsurprisingly, continued to enjoy steady sales, and collectively, that subseries has now crossed another major sales milestone.

Atlus has announced that the Persona 5 series has now sold over 10 million units worldwide across all platforms. That includes sales for Persona 5 itself, Persona 5 Royal, Persona 5 Strikers, Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight, and the recently released Persona 5 Tactica. As of June, prior to the latter’s launch, the series’ sales stood at 9 million units, so clearly it has enjoyed a healthy bump thanks to the tactics RPG’s release.

Currently, there’s no official word on whether Atlus has more Persona 5 spinoffs planned, though series fans do have Persona 3 Reload to look forward to, which is out for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC in February.
