Obsidian Entertainment’s Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire is out in the next two weeks but in case you’re already pining for more content post-launch, the developer has you covered. It’s announced three expansions, starting with Beast of Winter in July.
Beast of Winter will see the doors to The Beyond, a “mysterious dimension populated by ancient souls and filled with devilish challenges”, being opened and the player fighting a doomsday cult. The next expansion is Seeker, Slayer, Survivor releasing in September where you’ll face off against Eora’s strongest and most brutal warriors. Finally, there’s The Forgottten Sanctum which tells the story about Eora’s wizards and promises a trial of “allegiance and morality.”
Along with pricing each expansion for $10 apiece, Obsidian is also bundling all the expansions together in a Season Pass for $25. If you pick up the Collector’s Edition from the $150 tier or higher from the crowd-funding campaign, then the Season Pass will be included with everything else.
Releasing on May 8th for PC, Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire will also be coming to PS4 and Xbox One later this year.
