PlayerUnknown’s BattleGrounds Hits 3 Million Concurrent Players on Steam

Nothing stops this train.

There is no stopping the PlayerUnknown’s BattleGrounds train. It has managed to reach another milestone, hitting 3 million concurrent players last night, albeit across the test and live servers cumulatively. It’s an insane number- there are games that don’t even sell 3 million copies, let alone get that many concurrent players.

PUBG‘s success is set to continue, too, since it just had a very successful launch on the Xbox One (it already has a million players on Microsoft’s console). It will be very interesting to see how the game does once the 1.0 version release next week.

With the holiday season also coming up, the game’s concurrent player count should continue to increase, to- where will things end up? I don’t know, but the sky is the limit for this game, very clearly, as its continued success has shown us. PlayerUnknown’s BattleGrounds is out now on PC (via Steam Early Access) and Xbox One (via Xbox Preview).
