PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Sells Over 26 Million Copies on Xbox One, PC

A whopping 2.7 billion hours have been spent in-game by players thus far.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, that fledgling Last Man Standing title for Xbox One and PC, has some very interesting new stats courtesy of PUBG Corp. The developer revealed that the game has sold more than 26 million copies on PC and Xbox One with players having spent over 2.7 billion hours in-game. That equates to 130 million chicken dinners.

The highest concurrent player count seems to be 3.15 million players who have had 2.3 billion care packages delivered. In terms of weapons, the M416 is a favourite among players while the UAZ is the preferred mode of transport. What’s interesting is the sales numbers. We know that the game crossed 4 million players on Xbox One while SteamSpy notes over 29 million owners on PC. Perhaps free copies and other discrepancies exist somewhere, especially in SteamSpy.

If you haven’t played PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds or own an Xbox One, then there will an Xbox One S PUBG Bundle available on February 20th. It includes the Xbox One S with 1 TB HDD, an Xbox wireless controller, one month of Xbox Live Gold and one month of Xbox Game Pass, and a code for the game.
