PlayStation Will Make More First-Party Announcements at Summer Game Fest – Rumour

The company shared a bunch of first-party news at its recent State of Play presentation, but seemingly, that wasn't the extent of it.

Sony’s recent State of Play presentation came with plenty of first-party announcements, from Astro Bot to Concord to Until Dawn, but it seems like the company still has more news to share on that front. As per Midori, a prominent leaker, Sony has yet more first-party announcements to make in the very near future.

Taking recently to Twitter, the leaker claimed that more of Sony’s first-party studios will be making announcements at Summer Game Fest, which is set for June 7. Interestingly enough, PlayStation was mentioned as one of Summer Game Fest’s partners earlier this month.

Recent leaks claimed that Sony was preparing to announce a LEGO-themed Horizon game, and with it having skipped the recent State of Play, perhaps Summer Game Fest will be where we will finally see it. Meanwhile, following Astro Bot’s recent announcement, Sony also confirmed that the platformer’s pre-orders will be going live on June 7, which is the day Summer Game Fest is supposed to happen- which means we might be another trailer for the game at the event.

Until now, several major games have been confirmed for Summer Game Fest so far, including Monster Hunter Wilds, Metaphor: ReFantazio, Palworldand Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO, among others. 2K will also be unveiling major new game, while an announcement for Alan Wake 2 DLC is also seemingly being teased.
