Ubisoft surprised quite a few of us at E3 2014 when it revealed that Rainbow Six Patriots had been scrapped to create a new, multiplayer-focused title in Rainbow Six: Siege. This being Rainbow Six though means it’s still about breaching doors, taking down hostiles and securing hostages in the process. After its initial reveal, we now get a 40 minute gameplay video of Siege’s multiplayer, showcasing various mechanics in the game.
In the above video, you’ll see many of the gameplay elements seen at E3 including the ability to send out drones to scout areas, environmental damage for breaching various sections of the house, saving the hostages within and much more. If you’re not the multiplayer type, then rest assured since Ubisoft confirmed there will be a single-player campaign.
Rainbow Six: Siege will reportedly be out in 2015 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC so stay tuned in the coming months for more details.
