Rainbow Six Siege PC Requirements Detailed, 47 GB Space Recommended

The hardware requirements for the PC version aren't half bad.

Ubisoft has released the PC system requirements for Rainbow Six: Siege, it’s upcoming co-op/competitive multiplayer shooter, and surprisingly they’re not that heavy.

The minimum system requirements include an Intel Core i3 560 clocked at 3.3 GHz or AMD Phenom II X4 945 clocked at 3 GHz with 6 GB RAM. An Nvidia GeForce GTX 460 or AMD Radeon HD 5870 or an equivalent DirectX 11 card with 1 GB of VRAM is also required. You’ll need 30 GB of HDD space, a broadband connection with 256 kbps upstream or faster and a DVD-ROM drive that supports dual layer discs. Finally, make sure you have Windows 7 64-bit and upwards as your OS.

Recommended specs include an Intel Core i5-2500K at 3.3 GHz or better or an AMD FX-8120 at 3.1 Ghz or better with 8 GB of RAM. For GPUs, an Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 (or GTX 760/GTX 960) or AMD Radeon HD 7970 (or R9 280x 2GB VRAM/R9 380/Fury X) are recommended. You’ll also need 47 GB of HDD space, a broadband connection 512 kbps upstream or faster and Windows 7 64-bit upwards.

It should be noted that the laptop models for some supported graphics cards may work but not be supported. Ubisoft says other chipsets may be supported after release. Head here for a comprehensive list of supported GPUs.

Rainbow Six: Siege is out on December 1st for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
