Odds are, if you’re into shooters at all, you’ve probably dipped your toes into Rainbow Six Siege at this point. The ongoing multiplayer title is still going strong, on the verge of its next season, which you can read about here. But maybe you haven’t play it, or maybe you want to get back into it? Well, this weekend will be the perfect time, since it’ll be free to jump in.
As announced by publisher Ubisoft, all versions of the game will be free to play this weekend. That includes PS4, Xbox One, and PC, through both Epic Games Store and Steam. You’ll have access to all maps, modes, and 20 legacy Operators. If you decide you just love it, you can even purchase the game on those platforms for 75% off, and all of your progress during the trial will carry over.
Rainbow Six Siege is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The free to play weekend will begin March 5th and run until March 8th. It also may be a peek into the game’s future, as its director eventually wants the title to be free to play permanently.
