Reanimal Has Gone Gold Ahead of February 2026 Release

The Little Nightmares developer's next co-op platformer is on track to launch for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.

For all the big games launching next year and any potential delays that could occur, Tarsier Studios’ Reanimal is thankfully not one. Publisher THQ Nordic confirmed that the co-op platformer has gone gold ahead of its launch on February 13th, 2026, for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.

The Standard Edition costs $39.99, but there’s also a Deluxe Edition for $59.99, which includes two masks and the Season Pass. Aside from potentially offering DLC story content, there are no details on the latter, so hopefully we’ll learn more before launch.

In the meantime, a demo for Reanimal is available now on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S (with the Switch 2 demo arriving later). It covers one of the starting islands that the siblings arrive on to save their friend. Alongside offering a quick look at exploration and puzzle-solving, it showcases some of the more terrifying monstrosities that players must escape from.

However, as the latest trailer from the Xbox Partner Showcase revealed, there are even bigger threats that go bump in the night. Stay tuned for more details ahead of release.
