Last week Red Dead Online, the online competent to Red Dead Redemption 2, came out of beta finally with pretty large scale content drop. Much like Rockstar’s previous game, Grand Theft Auto V, the online aspect of the game will be a driving force to continued support. And like that game, Red Dead looks to be having a great pipeline of support similar to Grand Theft Auto Online. It’s already getting its next major content expansion.
The new content is pretty significant, as it will contain a new weapon, the Ancient Tomahawk, two new Showdown Modes in Make It Count and Last Stand, and new Free Roam missions featuring Sadie Adler and Black Belle. In addition to that, all players this week will receive 25% increase in payouts across all modes and events. Also, with all that you get various new clothes, horses, and bug fixes. Red Dead Redemption 2 is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The update is live now, with some content out on on PS4 and coming to the Xbox One version later.
Free Roam Missions
- Ride out to the Adler Ranch in Ambarino or search out the infamous gunslinger Black Belle in Lemoyne for new Free Roam Missions to play in Red Dead Online for both PS4 and Xbox One.
Early Access Content
- Early Access content for players on PlayStation 4 including the devastating Ancient Tomahawk along with a new Make It Count: Ancient Tomahawk Showdown Mode. There’s also Last Stand, a bloody free-for-all Showdown Mode with no way out, no second chances and one winner.
- PlayStation 4 players will also get early access to the new Perlino Andalusian Horse and new horse equipment, clothing and emotes.
New Clothing
- The Clothing section of the Wheeler, Rawson and Co. Catalogue has new options on offer, including the Wescott Skirt, Valdez Vest, Citadel Boots, and limited stock of the Plaid Cap.
- In addition to 25% RDO$ and Gold increased payouts for all A Land of Opportunities Missions, Free Roam Missions, Showdown Modes, Races, and Free Roam Events – playing in a Posse this week at any point will earn you 5 bonus Gold Bars.
