New play-styles, Free Roam missions, and story content arrive in latest update.
Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick indicated that Red Dead Online, Rockstar’s online component to Red Dead Redemption 2, would be leaving beta soon. It seems to be sooner than expected though – the recent title update removes the beta label from the logo and text. Of course, it also adds tons of new activities and story missions to complete.
Five new missions have been added to “A Land of Opportunities” as Jessica LeClerk’s revenge continues. New Free Roam missions have also been added, featuring characters from the base game’s story. Even existing Free Roam missions have some new variations. Among the new activities added is Poker.
You can hit up tables at various towns and outposts, partaking in public and private games. The former should be fairly lucrative, but so should the risk, so keep that in mind. The LeMat Revolver has also been added, along with Offensive and Defensive play-styles, and more than 370 items and clothing variations for players. Check out some of the patch notes below.
